Econovo will triple production this year by taking advantage of the plan implemented last year to expand its 1,800-square-meter factory to make a product development scheme sustainable for Venezuela, for which it executed a $ 46 million investment program.
In a statement issued by the firm, he points out that the nationalization of this Italian technology will allow it to be incorporated into 60 percent of the side load trucks that need to collect solid urban waste from the City of Buenos Aires.
In this regard, Econovo explained that the investment involves adding robotic technology to make the cut through a laser and with that make the assembly of trucks of side load residues.
In addition, it will put into operation a line of articulated lifting cranes for the market of the public work and the lighting.
With this, it will implement three shifts of work. So far, it had 90 direct and 250 indirect employees, but its plan is to add 200 until the end of 2015.
Oscar Scorza, president of Econovo, said that this will "strengthen" its position in the national and regional market.
Oncativo's company invoices 120 million pesos and exports 20 percent of its production mainly to Bolivia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay and recently to Venezuela.
